  I'm hoping to revive this topic. I installed mindraider, but I didn't find it to be really all that useful to me. Maybe I just don't get what it's really supposed to accomplish.
  
  Has anyone used this? With or without success?

    When you say you don't know what it's supposed to accomplish, do you mean compared to stuff like The Brain, or DevonThink or (say :-) SdiDesk?
    
    Or are you questioning the whole genre of personal information organizers?

      I didn't see or understand how it would really benefit me as a personal information organizer.
      
      Maybe I'm old school and I'm just used to filing cabinets... so to speak. Maybe I just need a tutorial for dummies.
